Native American story Why Mandala Tour ? We met farmers who care for their land, by giving priority to quality and farming methods that neither exhaust nor alter the natural composition of the soil. The way that they farm brings invaluable benefit to the earth . It reaches far beyond the pleasures of the table and renewed tastes. More than a greater pleasure in life for them and us, the environment, the earth, and all who live on her reap the benefits from natural farming. We have been touched by their generosity, their openness and their warm welcome. Out of this, Mandala Tour was created: inspired by the desire to share these discoveries, we invite you to take the time and find out for yourself.
The Earth: a Mandala in the universe The 'Mandala', a word of Indian origin, symbolises the world in all its perfection. In the Tibetan tradition, the Mandala is composed of earth, water, fire, air and space, the five elements that go to make up the Earth and the whole universe.
An imbalance in one of these elements affects the whole universe.
Earth: yellow - solidity, firmness, trust, welcome. Gives life. Fire: red - sun, heat, vitality. Ripens life. Water: white - fluidity, suppleness, cohesion. Harmonises life. Air: green - the breath of the Earth - exchange, communication. One breath makes the whole universe vibrate. Vitalizes life. Space: blue - infinity, freedom, expansion - the seeds can sprout, flowers bloom, trees grow, life flourishes. Embraces life.
