Tha Aeolian archipelago is made up of seven islands: Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi and Alicudi. All the islands are different and unique with scenarios full of contrasts. From the black beaches of Vulcano and Stromboli to the pumice sands of Lipari; from the Stromboli explosions to the fumarole in Vulcano. The sea, with its warm water because of submarine fumaroles, is the undisputed king of the archipelago.

Punti di forza :

  • Vulcano and Lipari, UNESCO heritage
  • Trekking in Vulcano
  • Archaeological museum in Lipari

The most recent Aeolian archipelago, Vulcano is actually composed of two volcanoes connected by a narrow isthmus, the no-active Vulcanello and the partially active Vulcano that releases its energy through the fumaroles, the fumes of sulfur, the bubbling of warm waters near the east beach and the pool with mud. Excursion to Vulcano's crater to watch closely the events of gaseous fumaroles. Free time between the beaches and hot springs. Hydrofoil to Lipari. Dinner and overnight
In the morning, visit of Lipari with its Archaeological Museum, the most important of the Mediterranean. Created in 1954 sets out several buildings, artefacts from excavations conducted in the Aeolian Archipelago since 1940. The exposition, while scientific, is based on, according to the teaching of its creators, the criteria of clarity of illustration, making the visit successful even for children. After visiting hydrofoil to Milazzo and end of service.
