Winter time has arrived and the first snow has fallen on Mt Etna. Even if “a muntagna” changes its aspect it remains always beautiful and reveals a new charm to the attentive gaze of trekkers. The colours change and the snow covers everything with its cold mantle that sometimes melts quickly due to the hot spots of the volcano. This way Mt Etna appears “stained” in black and white.

Even in winter Mt Etna can be the destination for daily or weekly hiking tours.
