The Boschetto della Playa, a green area, is located along the beach area called “La Playa” in Catania.

It was born in between the two wars thanks to the reforestation and today it is a protected area.

It is about 280 Km² wide, made up by maritime pines and now it has been equipped with wood tables, benches and everything is needed for a healthy day in the nature.

Often the Boschetto is used for sports events.

Busses connections every 15 minutes leaving from Catania city centre, railway station or airport.
